What type of Models are being viewed though
But for next year what are the travel combination options available , without staying over and staying over .
What days would you recommend as purely for model enthusiasts (like NEC classic car show Friday is the better day)
By Bus/car /boat departure time , hours travelling , time at convention
Flights , what is the earliest / cheapest flight to give longest time at convention , again latest flights back, can it be done in one day ? Is it practical to see the show in a day or is a one or two night stay over advised to get the best out of it.

Can't wait Brian! I don't have a list ready because I'm cutting way back this year. Got a lot on at the moment and not finding much time for modelling. I have a few essentials in mind though to help me with models I already have... but I'll be on the look out for a show special or a bargain in the second hand kits.
@Vacformedhero: That's a lot of questions! And a lot of answers can be found online already if you look for yourself... especially regarding travel prices. To quickly cover it:
Best day: Saturday (longer opening hours and better stocked)
Travel options: Eurolines bus or flight to Birmingham
"What days would you recommend as purely for model enthusiasts" It's a show dedicated to models, therefore any day.
Yes, it is possible to do the show in the day without having to stay the night... that's what I've been doing for the last 6 or 7 years.
Show opens to the public on Saturday from 10am to 6pm... work your travel plans around that.
This year we're getting a flight out of Dublin to Birmingham. First flight out on Saturday, last flight back. Other years we have got Eurolines bus over out of Dublin. Dep 8pm arrival in Birmingham around 4am. We travelled from Cork earlier in the day. Departed Birmingham after the show at 22:00.
And it's not too late. If you really want to go next weekend the bus to Birmingham out of Dublin is available for €66.
