Hey lads ! I'm gonna buy the tickets tonight. About the hotel I got advice from a few modelers from uk, they told me the university rooms, cheap but they are not a hotel anyway. If anyone is interested I can try to find the name again .
My plans are going Saturday and coming back Sunday night . And try not spend money in models ahaha

I have done the university rooms for a few years - comfortable, single rooms, with a buffet breakfast. Full of modellers at the show for the whole weekend, from all parts of Europe (and quite a few irish lads as well*). Upside is that the rooms are inexpensive, the breakfast is good, and there is a pub on campus. Hotels in the area are upwards of £100 a night, while the univ rooms are £44 B & B a night. Downside is that it is a bit of a walk - about 1.5 miles, to the event centre (unless you can cadge a lift from some of the modellers there). Still, the taxi fare would be a lot less than a train fare from Wolverhamption/Birmingham etc.

If you are interested, here is the link to bookings:-

*There will be at least 5 or 6 of us there, maybe more.
