Postby stephen8718 » Sun May 03, 2015 9:58 am

hi guys just built this one for the colour GB for the ISM forum. hope to see you on Sunday at IMSS show.It was supposed to be the TARHEEL HAL aircraft but the decals broke up in bits on me so i done it in scheme of another aircraft in the squadron.will try and get decals at later stage for another aircraft

:P Beautiful! Absolutely love it! I just love NMF with colour sections. You did a magnificent job Stephen and you should be very proud of it :DX

A winner for sure! [smilie=first.gif]

Where was the build thread though? Only winding you, great that you joined in the GB anyway.

Well done on this fine model!

thanks very much Vinny. the NMF was my infamous Aldi Rattle can. 6 aircraft all in 1/48th with it so far and more left in the can.

Funny how I can see pics here on my tablet but not over at IPMS site .Anyway this has to be one of your very best yet Stephen .Really lovely .( Your previous NMF model pics were in different 'light' or something -or surface prep different?- this looks so metallic you can almost feel it clang!)

Oh and what did you use for the Pierced Steel,Planking (PSP) ?

the PSP is a base i got off the internet. they come in 1/72 and 1/48th size. the lighting has a lot to do with how the metal looks. the pics are taken in the same spot but are all at different times of the day and year.
