Wouldn't you just be able to touch it up with acrylic white? Or even enamel depending on your base paint. Then seal in the touch up paint and the decal with your clear acrylic of choice (Tamiya, Klear etc). That'll protect everything for the oil/enamel/white spirits washes.

Looks great by the way. the broken decal just looks chipped. Result! :o)b

I would prefer the decal broken imo. It broke in the perfect spot and looks realistic.

Great work!

Gotta go with the lads on this one too Leo, id leave it, looks right and in exactly the spot that you would expect to see a lot of wear and chipping on a painted on star, as for the rest, man those bags look great and the turret texture is really nice when the light hits it, the tarp looks stunning, gotta say this is really beautiful work, 10/10 man :DX

up date on the base , went with the ploughed field for a bit of a change , also went with a bit of a twist in this dio T o be revealed at a latter date :?: ;) .
Ok the furrows were made with kitchen towel soaked in white glue and water and stretched in lengths and white glued on to base, once all these were done they were sprinkled with fine compost earth , and then later sprinkled again till satisfied with a good coverage .
then the whole areas that were going to receive foliage and hedge s i gave a spray of hair spray and sprinkled some scatter grass , now waiting for some paint.

few pics to date.

ooooohhh and Lego that polish beer is great ,tastes like beer [smilie=tasty.gif] ,,,
