Just got a reply from my Hong Kong ebay supplier:

sorry sorry sorry but we cannot get your part, we spend 2 days trying to order it and it is no longer available!

What a load of crap!
I gave that guy a piece of my mind, wasting my time with a non existing article, bloody bastard!

Did not gave a negative review....should I BOTHER?

Anyway, I shopped and found the same item (decal sheet) from non-ebay model shop in Singapore and when I looked a bit deeper I found a better one in theory.
Also other ones who were twice the price!

Happened to me before: Marlboro decals for Ferrari 2001.....after purchase suddenly gone, but he had the same product on a different ebay spot for twice the value.......could be the same bloody bastard.
No need to say what I did........

I expect the model this week, the pe next week and the decals...who knows, need them last anyways!

Ok, I just received the kit for a fair enough price.
This kit costs a small fortune and it's not a rare oldie but a rather new one and because of its popularity Tamiya likes to charge a lot.
There is another Tamiya kit that has pe parts included but that contains much less plastic parts so I opted for this one with some 190 parts....the better kit.
There is also a Hasegawa kit, but I wanted this one......both kits are good and out do each other on different points.....so the best one would be a hybrid.

It's a famous F1 car made by Lotus in the seventies.
Lotus had a few previous cars and also later cars that were also sponsored by John Player Special.
I used to have a dinky Lotus Type 72 and it was my favourite because of the livery, same as this one should have.......should because tobacco decals are since long never included.
Now they say that this car drove a few races w/o the JPS marks but that is not my plan!

This car was the 2nd (1st one was their type 78) that used the ground effect and the 1st that used it well and won many races and the champion ship.
It had been on my wish list for a while and recently in Spain there was one for just over €25, but I couldn't get in the shop due to siesta or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway it will be fun to build and paint piece by piece before assembly.
I hope that I can give it a good glossy shiny black and that my aftermarket decals match the required gold colour.
