Thanks Lego!! Still a bit away from finishing this but I do have some more here.......

After some of the usual messing around...clear coat and Hair spray always need to pop a little color!!!

Image

Seemed like a decent base for what I am doing. A couple things stand in the way...one is the chipping of the base!

Guess what....another clear coat!! :o

Image

Wife will kill me soon with the amount of hair spray I use ::). Here comes a top coat....for now! ;D

Chip chip chip chip chip chip.................

The double coat worked nicely as the are numerous spots that show through not only the rust, but the 4BO color as well. Time for a little clean up... :D and then washy washy!! I will give this a quick wash and then I get to play!! 8-)

As always....thank for hanging out for a bit!!! ;)

Looks really good... And I usually don't say that :D

I believe that's only a mistake with naming the color but T62 couldn't be painted with 4BO color. As far as I remember 4BO was discontinued around 1952/5 and this baby is from late 60 ;)

Thanks Spud!!! ]o| The leafy stuff is salt my friend, just didn't chip it off as yet in the pic!! ;)

Thanks Hovek! Appreciate the kind words!! As for the 4BO, The set I used is AK Interactive "4BO Russian Green Modulation Set". Sorry, was referring generically to the set. ;)

This is just extraordinary work! A real treat as a build thread too. Todd, I read an article you did for the SMA mag last night... truly amazing skills! [smilie=gr_hail.gif]

Excellent! I'll keep an eye out for that. Spud very kindly lent me the SMA and AK magazines to read as I hadn't seen them before. I was very impressed and I think I'll buy them in the future as they're a fantastic resource.

Cheers!
