time to kick start this again

oils seemed dry so i gave it a good coat of matt varnish

i now am not sure where to go with this

im thinking..........

a darkish wash to pick out the nooks and crannies (or not?)
a wash with pigments (in the past i do the wash then use a stiff brush to remove most of it so it just stays in the places it would for real)
some streaks (seen an interesting vid using humbrol decal fix)
some lumpy mud under the arches
some mud splashes here and there down the sides

how do you guys do the lumpy mud?............ive tried with pva before but it sets a bit too hard for my liking, cant go back and 'adjust' it ....i would be using MiG pigments as i have some already

So many choices.

I like to see a good bit rust and rainmarks.
So that's sorted.
Back to work

It's all trial and error...if you know all then it's only repeat and that is boring. [smilie=beer.gif]
it has to be leisure.....try something on a piece of scrap plastic or so because your car is too nice to overdo.

That looks fantastic Paul! I really like how the weathering turned out. Nice grimey appearance to it. Well done! :DX
