Trumpeter T-62

The Idea for this one is simple knocked out and Abandoned some place in Iraq or Afghanistan, the Engine will have been removed for spares over time so the engine bay will need to be made

this will be my biggest Etch job to date but i don't need all of the etch for this one. I mainly want the fenders and storage bins , there is some detail parts that will be used tough. well most of it :D

Ill also be using Fruils on this once Armor models has them in after Christmas

This is going to be something else! I really like the idea behind it too. The chap wandering around the desert adds to the story of the dio.

Well i made start on the Motor compartment :P its not Accurate ish but im happy with it so far.

the wiring on the sides in the fighting compartment is just so there is something to be seen trough the holes

starting with the Darkest of the rust tones i laid down a base and the other tones after that were sprayed randomly mostly around raised details.

Added a kind of a filter with the rust wash i sprayed it on in a light coat, next up chipping fluid

Spud, that's some seriously good scratch building on the interior. And with the first layers of rust on, it looks superb! The different tones of rust give it some nice depth of colour. Really like the work so far... the finished model is going to be a stunner if this is anything to go by.
