Thanks for that lego i think George mentioned he may have some lying round i must give it a try at some stage, so far ive heard mixed results, but prob from the new stuff, ill look at that link thanks man :D

Ah if ya ''cany find it'' ! i wont mind, having never used it before it wont be a big loss to me George, its more of a curiosity to be fair, either way man no sweat ]o|

I only used Klear a few times when I got back into this lark and tried a few aircraft,it seemed fine to me.

If you are looking for a glossy surface for decal placement Halfords clearcoat will do the trick if you are using acrylic paint,I have used it over Tamita acrylics no problems.

WARNING...I have not used it over enamel paint and I imagine that that it will just eat the enamel..Also I have not used it over clear parts either..
So check it out before using it on a decent part!

thanks for the tips arni, im using humbrol matt and gloss coats at the minute and they work just fine havent had any issues over acrylic or oil so ill bang away with it until i need to change then i might try something different, appreciate the input man cheers :o)b

I still have over 100 tins of Humbrol paint and it is nice stuff,seal it properly and it is good for decades. :D :D
