Priming resin?

Just ordered a couple of resin car body shells and was wondering do I need to use an etch primer on them?

I'm a bit late on this question Nigel but I use Mr. Resin Primer Surfacer for resin parts. It goes on nicely through an airbrush when thinned with cellulose thinner.
