Fit is great, cockpit photos to follow ! Westland at the time of the war were a very small company, which unfortunately didn't aid in the testing, the development and the production of the Whirlwind which is why it wasn't more than it should have been. Westland also didn't use primer on their aircraft either, so after a load of low level sorties over the salty English channel the aeroplanes began to chip badly and look well used and frankly f$cked !

Established in 2012, Irish Scale Modeller (ISM) is Ireland's friendliest and best online community for independent scale modellers. The ISM forum is a free resource and has no association with any societies or clubs with a focus on making scale models without any of the politics. All model makers, of any skill level, from anywhere, are welcome and encouraged to share their work, talent and knowledge.
