i agree with the patience you certainly have that plus the dedication to see it through is brilliant, and im looking forward to the next update

Tom you are very kind and I hope that I can get a nice result.


Here some updates, it took me very long time to do the filling and sanding, the spine I had to filled twice and let cure for a month because I could see after some time the gap reappearing. Same thing on the air intakes, very frustrating and definitely a mojo killer.
So I left the Phantom on the shelf for some time, last few days I decided to make the last check and to prime it with UMP Black primer ( Badger Stynylrez primer rebottle by UMP).

How do you find working with those MRP paints? I take it they work straight from the bottle and are lacquer based?

Hi Vinny yes she looks really nice in Black, MRP Paints, i really love them I used MRP the first time on my Captured Macchi and yes are lacquer based and they are very smelly, i just going to keep the Tamiya Paints and the MRP Paints the Vallejo are going to be use only for Brush paint and details.
