Actually Tom it's been fairly famous for the wrong reasons lately, some guy in the states rebuilt one and used 2 Suzuki Hayabusa engines to power it and died when it crashed a few months ago, Bugatti built it in the 1930's (it looks far more modern, I know) to break speed records but hid it in a barn when the war broke out and it never flew.

would never have crossed my mind that it was built in the 1930's, makes sense it was built to be a record breaker and i vaguely remember some one putting a jet engine in a car, and underestimating the brake force required they just melted and he killed himself again this was America, this must have been one of those amazing barn finds and i could imagine the excitement of rebuilding and flying it, and its a shame the pilot died, i look forward to seeing the end result, i don't build anything that flies but my interest is peaked quit a lot after seeing the work done here, thank you for the interesting facts
