Panzers of WW2

Postby BrIAN332 » Thu Jan 17, 2013 10:48 am

The title says it all, just starting this one for all of us on here who love all the german panzers of ww2 and to share pics of real ww2 photos of these masterpieces of engineering in action,on the battlefield etc.German armor is without doubt the most popular and widely modeled subject in 1/35 scale so here are plenty photos of what us armor modelers love to build and paint.Starting off with these absolutely cool photos.

I am in such a weird humour tonight, all I could think was I would have put a picture of an arse in that sequence just for the craic. So giddy. I watched fight club over the xmas, that must be it.

Great pics though. Looking at the pictures of the panther I had to laugh at how big the germans made their armour. I mean the panther was supposed to be a medium tank and it was huge. Anyone got a good africa corp tiger photo in colour? [smilie=tease.gif]

Don't know if anyone else has used these photos just to get a colour reference, I have because I find it hard to match a colour to a BW photo. http://www.worldwar2aces.com/panzer-tank/ Good link to great photos of museum tanks.

Good link to surviving Panzers, click on the names listed to download pdf files showing extensive info. Files are give or take 5 to 10 mb each with coloured photos. If you look on the left side you also look at russian tanks etc as well

Now get to work on this plastic porn! [smilie=pdt_nunu.gif]
