SS Grenadier LAH Kharkov

Just something to get me over the next few days i think . i used Tamiya XF-1 Matt black mixed with Cellulose Thinners for my Primer coat.

Now while that dries ill be brushing up watching this Awesome DVD

Cool! Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the newly acquired skills. I'm always amazed the paint jobs guys do on figures and how they make them so realistic because they're tiny! You'd almost be using a brush with one hair for the eyes I'd say [smilie=hypnotised.gif]

lol im using a Sable 000 for the eyes. there easy enough just fiddly, i paint the white and the black and then fix it using the skin base coat then i use a red mixed with the base could and go around the eyes and job done. sounds easy just time consuming :) ill have a pic or two later

well here we go awkward as hell to get a decent pic of it over the angle of his head :). this is teh second go first was too pale and the reddish cheeks was non existent this is way better and i like it.

Spent the event adding layer after layer after layer and... you get the idea and after all that its hard to see it in pics but it person its fecking Awesome.

There is still things to do to the jacket like the buttons. Next on the list tough is the pants and that wont be easy as i want to do that white.

Pics aint great but i cba taking more.

Ok Last night i couldn't resist doing more. almost done now Binoculars are teh wrong color so that needs doing and some weathering on him... i guess streaking wont work here :D
