"Factory Fighters"

Postby BrIAN332 » Wed Dec 16, 2015 9:31 pm

My third figure dio that ive been working on is one ive wanted to do for a while and plan on doing a few more factory ruin type scenes , hopfully

The figs im using again come from Dragon and their Cross of Iron set.

The base comes a section of Trumpeter and was just perfect for what I was looking for.

The majority of this one is just made up of bits n bobs from the spares boxes, 1/35 bricks etc from Tamiya Miniart etc

Im still undecided on the fig layout and one of them may even be droped in favour of another German action type fig :?:, but im well pleased with how things are shaping up :o)b

Great looking diorama scene Brian! Plenty of action going on for it's size. Looking forward to seeing this one progress :o)b

Cheers lads, i just wasnt happy with how the factory wall was though, so it was time to raid the spares/junk boxes and i found a use for the plenty of Miniart pipes that come with most of their building kits.

I wanted more industrial material in the factory and i decided to add in some pipework on the backwall and add in some discarded pipes amongst the rubble.

I also added in another window.

I used various metallic paints, acrylics and oils, ill be adding in some pigments as well in the next stage.

Ill prob add a few torn propaganda posters on the walls and also some more rubble all depending on the placement of the figs which ill return to now after xmas :o|

Wow! Those additions really took it to another level! The dirty metallic pipes look class against the brickwork. Really good move adding them Brian :o)b

Excellent stuff Brian, the pipes are exactly what it needed. Definitely Cross of Iron territory. [smilie=thumb.gif]

Brian
any chance you could get an mg 34 in to the hands of the upright guy as if just setting it up on the wall in front of him ?
would look as if they just took up that position
