Someting a bit different. Gardening

Postby Georgeconna » Mon May 21, 2012 11:27 pm

Hi Lads,

2 years ago I stuck in some raised beds for Veggies, I used some large sleeper like timbers. After a while I though to myself a track could go on that, After a single line trail the track was doubled and the 1st two summers used quite often. It is only 8ft x 8ft so 64 foot of track altogether, Its run on DCC.

After the last sprog arrived I used it once last year, the weather was shite also. Here's a few videos from that indian summer 2010 including a Vegtable special!! Cick on the pics and they will take you to the video.

looks great george.. this might be a stupid question but did you have to take up the track or is it ok to leave out in the rain??

Nope, You can leave all in Situ and just give the track a clean up before you run anytrains.

The main problem is the beedin kids ripping it up and there my own kids!!!!

Nice. You gonna Xmas this up in the garden? Few bears and fairy lights :D

Yeah kids, sometimes I wish I was a member of a species that eats their own offspring

I have 6, 2 and 1 year old myself and my house is wrecked. Hah my two year old daughter just went by with a focke wolf in her mouth. Just great! But I am looking forward to doing a 1/72 red arrow with my son on xmas morning as a first intro to modelling.
