We got a fair bit done over the past few weeks and managed to put down some permanent way and we ran an engineers trains and a coach with some directors up to inspect the work...hope ye like..
Track was screw down in into rawl plugs in the block so nice and tight, gaps were left to facilitate expansion in the very hot summers we are due. Piccy and video below

Thats so cool G, how big is it gonna be and what effect will our odd bit of rain have on it?

Rain wont matter but we wont be running it during the rain though. Track is designed to withstand the sun and rain. Its about 120 feet or so long.

That's so cool! Great project George and well thought out with the expansion gaps and all. Should be really nice in the summer months when it's all settled in and nature gets involved with the diorama making :)
