I have two of my first models a 1/72 messerchmitt 109 and 110 in a plastic bag at the momment with oven cleaner. I have to spits and a mossie done but am still adding finishing touches to will post some pics soon..also a junkers ju88 but saw a finished one here so i've stolen(bowwered) a few ideas from that..also pics soon...

Great stuff for your first kit Micheal, i can tell ya now mine were nothing like that when i first attempted to build them, and nearly as bad when i got back into it a year or so ago, keep up the good work mate.

Thanks Martin..I was plaeased when I finished it but that was before I knew anything about weathering or dry brushing...Don't know if i would do something like it again but would like to do another ship but with out the rigging. thanks for the support....

excellent work there michael,great workmanship on the sails and the rigging,i love these big old sailing ships and would be very proud if achieved a finish like this.i made a model of the bounty in 1/110,revell kit and actually found doing the rigging one of the most enjoyable aspects as i think it really makes the model stand out,great work.

Thanks Brian ya I had to take a couple of goes at the rigging but your right it's what makes the model.thanks for the kind words...
