CSS Hunley - 1/35

Postby Biskup » Sat May 25, 2013 10:29 pm

Today I finished a model, which was waiting for his turn for a long time. This model represents first submarine which sank a ship. CSS Hunley was created during the American Civil War. It was built by the South in order to break the sea siege of Charleston. Model comes from Verlinden set in 1/35 scale. It’s made in resin except the stem which the torpedo. Based on the collected documentation I decided to add an extra chain to hold the torpedo stem.
