Hi all,

Progress is slow on this one, The Vacform lifeboats supplied with the model were pretty basic with no relief, I could of Planked the outside and inside but between time and cost resin options were a more suitable option. Cheque booking Modelling at its best.

These resin lifeboats were got from Cornwall Model Boats and look pretty nice once tidied up, the Resin was still tacky when I got them, A Dark grey wash over the whole boat then to bring it to life.

Got the Rigging and Davits complete, The White metal Castings were pretty poor and I ended up using some plastic rod for the cross bars which made it look much better. I completed one side and then discovered that the Kit did not have enough Walnut 2 hole blocks so had to place a second order for some of those. anyway here some pics.
