Hi guys, glad you like it, thanks for that ^^

Time for an update. During the course of January I managed to finish the flight deck, quite nerve wrecking at times, but glad it's finished now :D

real work of art, great attention to detail, awesome to watch it coming together, i remember when my kids where off school and you think the holidays are too bloody long  i wouldn't have swapped them for the world but there certainly would be no peace... this is one of those builds that you have a look at and go over again a few times, the delicate work on the photo etch is sheer class and something i would like to try later on down the road, for now i can sit back and enjoy this

Hi Tom, thanks a lot mate. And yeah, love my kids a lot indeed, but those holidays, no ideal to work on the etch. Glad you like it though. It's sure a very slow process (I'm slow anyway LOL), gonna take me at least another year. But it is very rewarding when most things work out. Still, the rigging at the end scares me the most...luckily that's still far away :D

Well, got an update for y'all. I finished construction the Nr. 1/2 and 3 main turrets and the forward Nr.1 secondary turret. The two forward main gun turrets are depicted as they just fired 'San Shiki' or Beehive shells at incoming aircraft. The guns in the lower position dropped to this position after firing for reloading purposes.

That my friend is serious detailing, and interesting History, and i like the way you depicted the guns after firing for reloading nicely done and an interesting fact.... just stunning
