That looks the job Martay! You're really getting into your subs these days. If you plan on making more of them, or dabbling with some boats, maybe you'd consider getting the AK Interactive Naval Weathering sets as they have some handy colors ready to go…

Being 144 scale I'd image this is pretty small??

Keep up the great work!

Very cool Marty, nice work esp in 1/144, : , :D ive built one of the Revell 1/72 Type V11C 'Wolf Pack' ones before, Revell really have some top class floaty models in their range, and the display stands are a great bonus as well..... the type XX1 model with interior detail is also a great kit, with great details, a joy to build, mines in the floaty section there as well,..... :? ,,,,,, looking forward to seeing more of your subs man :DX

Thanks Micheal, the green streaks were done with ak streaking grime and are an effort to show the dirt from wooden deck planking and i think may be a bit strong but this was sub number 2 in the list and it was because this being a type II would have shown a lot of weathering by the time it was in service in the Atlantic. Thanks for looking and takin the time to comment.

Thanks again Jaydee, she was a fine old boat this one, laid down in 35 and sunk by Russian air attack in 44 in the black sea, so a very long service life for a U Boat, tried to give her a well worn look. I used stretched sprue for the cables, it took a few goes and i had to muck around quite a bit to get it to tension up right, she looks nice tho, thanks for the time and words, again :D
