Nigel, as you know have been planning to do some work on getting to grips with tamiya paints, this will be the start of this. Hope it works out, notice u use zero paints, can you compare tamiya and zero.

By jingo but those alcad products are something else. Did a little experimenting this morning, photos don't do them justice, the chrome is magic.

The photo's aren't great, the tank is white aluminium, its spot on to what they normally are. No shelf life on bottle so hope its good as I have a good assortment of the stuff.

Thanks Nige\Liam, l i wasn't sure as its not one i would use that often, keep them coming Liam your picking up quite a bit of experience in a short time, back in the day it was a pot of silver paint or polished metal, these paints look the way to go, as i haven't used them i didn't want to buy some and find out after a couple of months they where useless

Evening Tom,
Yep, I am happy with the alcad results, now if i could only make a better hand of those flippin tamiya paints I would be delighted, more practise seems to be the order of the day.

Chassis nearly completed, a few more jobs to do on it. That will be 3 chassis's finished but not one truck completed. Nearly there on the decals I think, so hope to finish off all 3 soon.
