1/72 S-Model DAK Kubelwagen.

A lovely kit this, easy to work with and very well detailed. In places so fine that it was challenging to remove parts from the sprue in one piece. Etch is provided for the canopy struts, corner hooks, rifle rack, gear stick, hand break ,rear number plate and light unit.

Some detail is hidden and can't be easily seen, the definition in places is excellent.

No decals are provided so the spares box came in handy. I also had to provide clear plastic for the windscreen which I cut to fit into the frame. I also used paper to cover the folded canopy as it had too much of a plastic look even when painted.

Forgot to mention the paint I used.

Base coat Tamiya Nato Green, Model Master Enamel Afrika Braun, Tamiya Khaki and Red Brown, Revell Enamel Anthracite and dry brushed Vallejo Iraqi Sand.

Also used Vallejo Decal Set and Medium.

That looks excellent Jim! Really nice result and it looks well battered with that weathering.

Great stuff!
