My own D-day build

Postby paulh » Fri Jul 11, 2014 12:12 pm

Not my usual scale or era, but I wanted to do something with a D-day focus.
Kit is from the Plastic Soldier Company M4A4 multi set ( 3 Full kits in the 1 box and can build up as either 3x Firefly or 3x 75mm M4A4)
Some bits are simplified as these are intended for War gamming - but it was an enjoyable build.
Ground work included rubberised horse hair as the basis for the boccage and my firsdt attempt at trees using the sea fern stuff. Looks a bit too clean in these pics but I have since added some weathering/mud& dust on the lower ends. hope ya all like it.

Build -fail -learn-succeed- ENJOY!

The clever man can solve his problems;the wise man avoids them.

On the bench:
Heller AMX 30
HobbyBoss Leopard 2A5DK
and loads of other stuff I can't even remember

That's really cool Paul! Love all the details you've captured in such a small size :DX

Thanks for posting.
