an ME 109 E-3 in 1/72 scale

Postby martay » Sun Mar 09, 2014 9:56 pm

Well here as promised are the final pics from this little build, it came out real well and im fairly pleased with her, as ever not perfect but im starting to feel there is some improvement occurring, this one actually looks a bit realistic. This kit did have a removable engine cowling, but without serious modification of both the cowling and the engine bay to depict the twin guns mounted there, along with a bit of detail work on the engine it would have looked a bit naff and pointless so i left it closed, although its not glued in, in case i change my mind later :oX
anyway, here are the final pics, and thanks very much for looking at my work :o)b

Well thats this one looking ok, im just getting the hang of a new camera, no more fonecamera for me any more, but ive got to master the editing suite yet and the manual focus deffo does produce better results, this lot of pics are the 1st lot done this way, im converted :o)b
Hope you enjoy my efforts, until next time, thanks.

Absolute class Martay! Really well built, the paint job with weathering is superb. Nice touch leaving the canopy open.

Great job dude! One to be very proud of [smilie=first.gif]
