Thanks spud.

Yeah it stems from not having enough experience with weathering stuff. I have yet to work out what gives me certain effects. Without knowing this I did not know what to weather with before putting tracks on if you know what I mean. I used a mixture of AK fresh/dark mud, European earth pigment, light dust and a dark earth mix of humbrol 85/132 enamels with plaster powder and crushed stone. I have decided to buy AK's FAQ 2 in the coming months as I think it will really help me there. But damn it is expensive.

I tried a little bit of the colour modulation with the hatches and I have a few ideas on what could be improved there as well.

Getting there slowly. But still getting there thanks.

Great work and excellent to see you're not afraid fo experimenting with different products. That's the way to do it! :DX

I have the FAQ 2 if you are interested in buying it its in perfect condition,

But i will say the best thing you can buy is the AK dvds washes fading and oils and winter techniques. you will learn a lot faster and the 2 of them is far cheaper than the book. :)
