Stug 1V

Postby vw8243 » Fri Oct 24, 2014 3:32 pm

Hi All

got this on the go now as well to be incorporated into the dio with the horses and trailer and god knows wat else, 8oS .
This will go on the back of the trailer, i really didn't want to use up a newish panzer,or SPG as it was getting damaged and zim and beat about a bit ,so this girl volunteered ,for a 70s? kit it builds up ok no probs .
Now i knew there were a few of these in normandy in 44 but not many pics of them but found who had them and can tie in whit my plan.

zim was done wit miliput .

That zip looks excellent! Nice work! Looking forward to seeing this dio come together as it sounds massive!

Well

So much for a quick dio filler 'o| got some paint on now, will do some chipping and weathering maybe get the tracks on and leave this a while ,sort out some ground colors for the dio and make a start on the base ,who said all this was supposed to be relaxing ]o| .

Like that a lot. Looks like a picture you would see with the faded look. Very nice.

Thanks Lads

Wayne you left out the date on that 2020, ;) , put some pics together the other night after a few beers ,found the next day reposted wat was already there, lost the new ones . so ill try again without a beer :? .

the stug has now been joined by the trailer sd.ah 116 , and also a busted up 1500 a. the 1500 was already built and painted but got the burnt out treatment still lots to do!

The stug has a shell blasted drive sprocket and a few damaged road wheels.
