Hi All

Been plugging away wit this the last few nights a load a sh)%$£ but getting there , this is a zvezda offering from about 1870 ,
this morter was captured by the germans ,and coppied and very hard to distinguish from each other, the trailer wheels are the only things that are really noticeable.
Ive changed a few bits on the trailer to make it a bit more german,
will be adding this to a steyr 1500a for a small Ardennes dio.

Unusual but excellent subject. Almost no difference between that WW2 mortar and any modern one.

Great bit of footage too, never saw it before only stills from it. Have a look at 2.25, a German para. on the tank is
carrying a MK1 Sten Gun.

my side widows turned up this morn so can crack on with this now, steyr is built in parts ready for paint,prob one a the best engineered kits you could ever build ,just falls together,.
Im going to add a schwimmer to this dio now,and sort out some figs.

Those are Etch windows Leo you are getting brave in your old Age

Hi All

Was keeping away from this because a the etch, but once i started, it was ok primed and painted the etch in khaki ,left to dry a few nights,then inserted the plastic for windows ,sealed with super glue only frosted one corner so not bad
painted the truck itself and got most a the painting work done before glueing on the windows.
so just to get on with the weathering now.

Got some camo on the schwimmer and a bit a wear and tear , just a few bits to paint and weather .
Have a driver and an other chap to go in this from an old dio so thats sorted .
