My 1/48th Academy F86-F Sabre

Postby stephen8718 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 6:39 pm

Hi guys here are some pics of the Academy F-86. I finished it in Argentinian markings as the U.S sold them on when they were finished with them. Its a nice little kit with a bit of filling in places and it comes with a wide range of hardware and front and back FODs. As usual finished in Testors/Humbrol/Revell enamels with decals from the stash although Condor decals also do a set. thanks for looking.

You've really got an eye for the coolest schemes Stephen, and perfectly executed as always.

Oh this is a nice surprise! I was expecting a regular NMF Sabre but am greeted with this camo version instead! Very cool 8-) That's a nice camo colour combination and the weathering breaks it up very well. Great finish as always!

Superb model Stephen :DX Job very well done!

Thanks for sharing

I really think this is such an iconic aircraft.

You did a great job. Never knew this is what happened to them. Figured they went to that junkyard.
