Thanks Nigel for your input. I think i am happy with it, I suppose I will know when the job is oxo.

i have not needed to order paint online in about a year.

if its vallejo you are after there is always the toy solder place in west cork. :)

Gave the volvo parts 2 light coats of Morris gloss laquer, Certainly added a little extra bling. Started on the scania parts with a different shade of green, it doesn't like tamiya fine grey primer. Persisted with more coats but some parts were just not getting coverage into ridges, it seemed to be bleeding out from the edges. So what to do, think I will let them dry over night, give them a light sand and try a coat of halfords grey primer over the green and see how that works out.

Let it dry,sand smooth and try more green and see.
