How to Keep Super glue Alive for Hours

Postby Spud » Sun Jan 27, 2013 11:47 pm

was taking pics of the Stug so i taught i would share this, Humbrol pot or something you can shape into a bowl, cover the top with tinfoil and press it lightly to make the bowl then pop some superglue in it and it will last hours in the tinfoil. i put it in there at around 6pm its now almost 12 and its still usable

ya you mentioned this to me there some months past and ive got exactly the same little pot with tinfoil bowl for mine also, works a treat and i get plenty of time to use the glue, its even been tacky next day and drop some more in and it loosens up the remaining glue which you can work away with. great tip mate cheers. :D

i reckon its that the foil wont adhere to the glue and reflects the vapours, combining that to the bowl effect keeping the vapours in the area of the top of the glue all combine to seriously prolong the life of the glue.
