LOL you got it easy mate, im doing this for real, just snapped the timing belt in my 1.9tdi and now have i suspect a bent exhaust valve on numb 4, head is off spare motor and am in the process of stripping the head off damaged lump, gonna do a final check tomorrow to make sure but im fairly positive...

Are you thinning it out much ? i presume your using standard thinners as the thinning agent, the more its thinned the faster it will dry, so ive found 8 light coats are better that 4 heavy ones. but again im referring to my timber work, ive not tried it as a sealer/ gloss coat on a model, but im goi...

Hi Leo, thanks very much man, yea the wee Bub is doing great, 6mths now and growing like a weed :lol: Been very busy with work and then home is always a list that never seems to get shorter. Thats weird alright, like two different moulds or something, you did a fine job on her, lovely to look at. the decals went on alright in the end.

Tracks appear fine to me, but im not a AFV modeller to be fair, is it the final finish that is not to you liking? Great think about AFV is the application of mud :lol: get out of jail free card eh! The washes and the color look very nice though, looking forward to see the final result. :o)b
