Re: Airfix 1/32 Humber Snipe

That paint job is very unusual, almost like those Prismatic-Holomatic paints. Very cool 8-)

Re: Batmobile,polar lights.

Love it Nigel! Always tempted with any Batmobile and they're all so iconic. I'm glad to see you haven't chopped this one to bits anyway  Some things are sacred!

Re: Re: Marks Models Model Meetings this Saturday at 18:45hrs

Very disappointed that I missed this meeting as, once again, there was a great turnout of models and a demo I would have like to have seen. As Wayne said, thanks to all those who contributed to keep the forum alive and kicking. I think we are fortunate to have both the meetings and the forum. It's g...

Well done Nigel, that shaped up very nicely! :DX You certainly did a great job getting all that filler blended in to look good.

One to be very proud of!

Thanks for sharing,

Re: Heller Soliel Royal

To me it looks like it's the silicon reacting to something rather than the paint reacting. It may be because of what's in the paint that the silicon is reacting. It could be that the paint hadn't fully cured or gassed off before you put the silicon on. Did you change your silicon brand? :oj A puzzle...

Re: 1/8 Citroen V8 traction maybe?

That's huge!! :o And that new engine has some great detail in it. And I think your modelling skills are definitely up for the challenge now, especially since you've honed them in after some super-detailing work recently. The original model was actually very nice. What's your plan for a colour scheme...

Very well done Stephen :DX You'd certainly get the impression that the guy is knackered from trudging around in the rain and mud all day.

Thanks for posting!
